Brigitte Bize

Brigitte Bize, who came to the US from Montpellier, France in 1994 works from her Benicia Arsenal studio. Her work is figurative, and for the past two years she has focused on a series of paintings depicting people on the beach, usually chidren, absorbed in private moments. " A la plage" ( At the beach) is the name of the series and can be seen from November 2008 to March 1, 2009 at the Benicia City Hall.
