The Icarus series is based on my idea about what would happen if Icarus fell today. Our youth, in a sense, fly higher and faster than ever before. What happens when they reach the limit and crash? We call 911. We call in the new heroes, the paramedics who will push the limits again, defying death in modern mythic feats. And there we are, a lot of us, trying to get a glimpse, not sure we want to see Icarus on the Ground.
