Un-Cage You

    I am developing a series of self-portraits.   The work is the thoughts I express of my current life, the communications with other artists form the past to present. They are combined with the sub-cultural art and classical echoing.

    The questions I am addressing with my work are the answers of seeking soul.  It has been years I wanted to figure out how the ego involved in daily decisions. In order to let go of ego, I intensively focused on observing myself. They are journal like to record what influenced me each day and the responds of my surrounding at each moment.  

    Getting rid of ego is a great challenge to me. By doing art in this subject is continues reminding for me to be aware of precious life. I prefer not to have too much of thoughts process because I do see ideas are traps sometimes. But I am willing to take a risk, break the rules, not being right, willing to accept the failures but never ever give up passion and surprises.
